Soap Making Made Simple Review
Soap Making Made Simple was created by my friend Dave Cushion over at SoapMakingMadeSimple.com. It provides a great overview of soap making while delving into a number of different methods.
The great thing about this approach is that it gives you the chance to learn and experiment with several soap making methods. That means that you will be able to find the method that works best for you!
The downside is that the level of information doesn’t go as deeply for some methods as you would get from a source dedicated to one approach. However, once you’ve found a method you enjoy you can always find sources dedicated to it.
- Dave’s Book Covers
- Melt & Pour
- Cold Process
- Liquid Soap
- Handmilled Soap
Each method has recipes that you can try out on your own. I recommend this book to people looking at melt & pour all the time because the section on that method is really well done.
Soap Making Made Simple also has a short trouble shooting guide and information on equipment you will need for each method. Both are very important and will be useful to you.
Finally, Dave included both a book on scrapbooking and an Internet soap making resources guide as bonuses.
If you are not quite sure about the soap making method that you want to pursue or if you want more information on melt & pour, I highly recommend Soap Making Made Simple. Click the link below and get Dave’s book. Being able to learn about several soap making methods in one location is going to help you choose which one to focus on.
